Estelle is a clinical and forensic psychologist and has specialised in working in forensic services in South and West London over the last 30 years. Estelle’s current roles include operating as the Director for Psychological Professions (Chief Psychological Professions Officer, CPPO) for West London NHS Trust and as Head of Psychological Services at Broadmoor Hospital. Estelle was partly re-deployed during the pandemic to co-lead developments for staff health & wellbeing in North West London.

Estelle’s current clinical and research interests are in the treatment of post-traumatic stress in the context of complex needs, trauma-informed approaches (particularly in the care and treatment of those detained under the mental health act in justice-involved populations), and workforce resilience. She is trained in Trauma Risk Management (TRiM), and as a Restorative Justice practitioner, committed to the promotion of restorative practices in forensic services, working with the Restorative Justice Council (RJC) on the development of restorative practices in mental health settings.
