On the 30^th November 2023 the PPN SE Psychological Practitioners Community of Practice held their first event in a new programme focussed on connecting Psychological Practitioner Champions and other interested individuals from across the South East. See the write up for this event here. Due to the success of the first Psychological Practitioners Community of Practice LGBTQ+ event, the Psychological Practitioners Community of Practice has decided to repeat this space to continue and encourage conversations around Championing LGBTQ+ Experiences as Psychological Practitioners. 

We are excited to welcome Professor Allan Laville who will be discussing the newly published LGBTQ+ Positive Practice Guide.

The “Championing LGBTQ+ Experience as a Psychological Practitioner” event will be a safe space to connect with like-minded colleagues, build your network, and discuss opportunities and support for our LGBTQ+ staff and patient community. We hope everyone can take away ideas that improve wellbeing and clinical practice whilst being mindful of the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ members.
