Participation Trailblazer's Initiative within Amplified

The Participation Trailblazer’s initiative within Amplified is looking for partners from across the children and young people’s mental health system to help generate new learning in participation in CYPMH by becoming a Participation Trailblazers. The 12 selected organisations will receive tools, training and resources to help support and embed participation further into their services. They will also be linked with peers across NHSE, sharing learning with other Trailblazers, helping to develop new participation practice and knowledge.

The deadline has been extended until end of day 10 April. (The deadline on the site still says 2 April but it has been changed).

The application is takes about 15 minutes. The two themes this year are

1. evaluating participation and settings applying under that theme will be supported to develop and implement their own evaluation framework for their participation
2. parent and carer participation and settings applying under that theme will get support to initiate or develop parent/carer participation strategies and models.

All CYPMH services that are NHSE commissioned can apply, as can schools, youth justice settings and children’s social care teams. CCGs and LAs can also apply.
