Announcement of funding for Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy Training places
The Northern School of Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy have had confirmation of the following funding for Yorkshire & Humber and North West based IAPT colleagues:
The next scheduled DIT training is taking place on 16th – 20th April 2018 at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, London, NW3 5SU.
Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy
Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) is a simple short term (16 sessions) individual therapy protocol for mood disorder. DIT is designed to be implemented by therapists with an interest in and experience of psychoanalytic/dynamic psychotherapy. Please visit DIT for more details and the application form.
Funded training and supervision places
IAPT staff are required to attend the 5-day training (based in London) and commit to sixteen hours of supervision with a minimum of two DIT training cases (this can take place remotely). This is typically structured as half an hour supervision per patient over sixteen sessions. In addition, four additional tape recordings will need to be submitted for rating.
