Molly Rhinehart is a second-year trainee clinical psychologist at Lancaster University, and is currently recruiting for participants for her service-related project.
Her study is exploring the experiences of clinical psychologists working in CAMHS who have involved parents/carers in interventions addressing a child or young person’s self-harm. The overall focus of the intervention doesn’t need to have been self-harm, and the involvement can be as big or small as was deemed necessary, e.g. a telephone consultation with parents, or involving parents in separate therapeutic sessions of their own. Participants need to be qualified clinical psychologists who were qualified and working in CAMHS in the UK at the time of the experience.
Participating in the study would involve an interview for up to an hour with Molly, and can take place locally or over Skype. More details about the study can be found here: http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/shm/study/doctoral_study/dclinpsy/research/mollyrhinehart/
