BPC Call out - Innovative Psychoanalytic Practice

09 Mar 18

The British Psychoanalytic Council is planning a conference looking at the links between research and innovative psychoanalytic practice. The conference ‘Bridging the Gap: from research to innovative practice’ is being planned for November, 2018 and the date will be released very shortly.

The BPS is looking for examples of real innovation in our profession – whether it’s working with a group in society that have not traditionally accessed psychoanalytic / psychodynamic psychotherapy or whether it is an example of using psychoanalytic theory to support the development of better public/third sector services.

If you run, work in, or simply know of a service you feel might be suitable for showcasing then please get in touch with a brief outline of the service, why you think it should be showcased at the conference and how to make contact - proposals should be no longer than 500 words. BPS is envisaging a number of innovative services will be given a short 15/20 minute slot at the conference to explore how their work is innovative and how research and evidence has supported its development.

Please contact Daniela Pasquini, BPC Conference Organiser via email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.: by the end of March latest to give BPS a chance to consider proposals.
